Perhaps you've found the perfect fabric to complement the other elements in your room. At Salamander, we prioritize offering you options, including the ability to supply your own upholstery material for our handcrafted seating, should you choose.
What You Will Need To Do
- Design Your Seating >> Launch Online Designer.
Please note: When selecting a cover, choose Customer Owned Material option.
- Please submit a non-returnable 18" x 18" sample of each material for testing. Once approved, Salamander will specify the required yardage or square footage based on the model's needs. We reserve the right to decline an order after inspecting the provided leather or fabric.
- Fabric must be 54” wide and the pattern must be railroaded and requiring no match.
- For leather, the thickness must range between 0.9mm and 1.4mm. Leather hides should average 50 sq. ft. and be free of major flaws.

DISCLAIMERS, POLICIES & WARRANTY
- Customer is responsible for all the supplied cover material. Fabrics must be supplied in continuous rolls 54" wide and leather is to be supplied in full hides. Cut yardage and partial pieces will not be used. Defective materials will be rejected and returned.
- Salamander Designs will not be responsible for transportation of material to factory.
- Material will be applied using standard manufacturing practices, and appropriate care will be exercised to assure efficient utilization of the supplied material. If additional material is required, the customer will be responsible to provide it.
- Materials will be applied in a random fashion.
- Standard Salamander Designs Freight Program applies. See your Salamander representative for details.
- All chair orders are NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-RETURNABLE, no exceptions.
- Salamander DOES NOT WARRANTY the customer owned cover material, but ALL other Salamander Designs warranty policies apply.
