For over 30 years, Salamander Designs has been creating innovative, specialized furniture systems built around your needs at both work and home.

In the 1990s our Founder and CEO, Salvatore Carrabba, couldn’t find furniture that met his standards—high-quality, flexible and adaptable to his evolving home entertainment setup.

Drawing on his background in sculpture and design, Salvatore built his own solution: the Archetype System for entertainment equipment with shelving. Encouraged by enthusiastic responses from friends and family, he launched Salamander Designs, Ltd. in 1992.

Today, Salamander has grown to be the global leader in premium, handcrafted technology furniture, trusted by A/V entertainment enthusiasts and professionals alike. Our advanced, modular solutions combine form and function to support ever-changing technology and offer the most premium design, look, feel and quality.

Headquartered in Bloomfield, Connecticut, our 85,000-square-foot facility includes a factory showroom, just two hours from Boston and NYC. We welcome you to visit.
