HOW THE SALAMANDER FPS SERIES STANDS CAME TO BE

Salamander Designs had been working with an enterprise level audio/video systems integrator based in Iowa called Mechdyne, collaborating to provide A/V furniture solutions for corporate environments. Through Mechdyne, ExxonMobil Corporation had been utilizing Salamander A/V furniture solutions for boardrooms, conference rooms and collaborative spaces. Salamander would build furniture to spec and Mechdyne would pre-install the latest technology components that could then be shipped as a completed module to facilities around the world.

Hands-On with Surface Hub

Sometime later this year, Microsoft will sell a new family of Windows 10 devices called Surface Hub with the aim of unlocking team collaboration in innovative new ways. If you think of Surface tablets as Windows expressed as hardware for individuals, Surface Hub is basically the same thing, but for teams. And now that I’ve finally had a chance to actually use this device, I’m hooked. Surface Hub is the real deal.

Microsoft announces 84-inch Surface Hub tailored for Windows 10

Microsoft has just unveiled a whole new category of device designed to showcase Windows 10. It's called the Surface Hub. As the next evolution of the company's Perceptive Pixel project, Surface Hub features an 84-inch 4K display with support for multi-touch and pen input. A 55-inch option will also be available, according to a press release. The massive screen also includes dual cameras, microphones, and a wide array of "advanced sensors," Microsoft says, though it's not yet sharing full details on all that's inside Surface Hub. We're also left clueless as to how much it will cost.
