Salamander is growing, Paul Sabbah leads the International Sales team

Salamander is growing and proudly announces the transition of Paul Sabbah who will lead our International Sales team.

Paul joined Salamander in 2008, successfully bringing residential A/V furniture and cinema seats to our International markets.

Paul is expanding his scope within the Salamander sales team and will lead the international sales and business development effort for our Commercial and Professional product lines.

Sabbah brings a 30-year history of technical and A/V furniture product development, sales and account management to Salamander Designs, translating his love of foreign cultures, languages, and travel into selling this great American brand in 85 countries around the globe.

We are happy to have Paul serve the brand in this new role. He brings a sense of humor, a strong network and a great reputation to our team and we are thrilled to have him leading our International growth effort.

CE Pro Brand Leader for AV Furniture

The 2017 CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis is out, and we’re extremely pleased to share that for the ninth consecutive year, Salamander Designs has been named the top AV furniture brand in this annual report by CE Pro Magazine. CE Pro magazine is a leading trade publication for professionals involved in the custom electronics business.

Salamander & Sony – An Integrated Innovative Solution

Last week at the 50th CES Convention in Las Vegas, NV. Sony announced and unveiled The VPL-VZ1000ES Ultra-Short Throw projector 4K HDR home theater projector housed in a Salamander custom Chameleon cabinet. Because of the capability to project so close to the wall while providing outstanding video quality, this projector also maintains room integrity, no longer requiring a ceiling suspended or mid room installation. The integrated cabinet and projector is a seamless and stealthy solution. The installation is simple with no need to open the wall or ceiling to run cables. In addition, all supporting components including a speaker system can be enclosed in the cabinet to provide a turnkey solution.

Earlier in 2016 Sony engineers approached Salamander’s President and Founder, Salvatore Carrabba about customizing a cabinet for this new innovation. Sal rallied his own experience and team delivering this sleek , fully integrated modern design.

All great art design starts with a vision/inspiration. Couple an artistic vision with an outstanding furniture design and you have a timeless classic.

Connie Kolman, an artist who uses a one-of -kind technique she created, was commissioned by AudioArt of Sudbury, MA to blend high-end audio and distinctive art. Inspired by nature and provocative colors, Connie applied her technique on glass panels which then were mounted on side panels and doors for a striking result. This particular pattern is called “Sahara Twilight”. We call it classic design married with artistic beauty: Signature Salamander

Salamander Designs scored its fifth CE Pro BEST award at CEDIA 2016 for a sleek, functional and AV furniture solution solving Low Profile Cabinet.

The New Low Profile Cabinet with its narrow depth, sleek design, storage capabilities and assortment of finishes delivers innovative residential solutions. As mentioned in our prior blog, Thinking Big at CEDIA 2016 (those who can anticipate the solutions and be ready with products will be the first reap the rewards of new opportunities.

Salamander Designs Introduces Two New Home Theater Seating Styles

Introducing Luca and Lilliana home theater seating solutions. Both models feature distinctive design and unique stitch patterns reminiscent of the finest luxury automobiles while offering the most sumptuous, durable and ultimately comfortable vantage point for enjoying home cinema.

All Salamander home theater seating models are constructed with an emphasis on premium quality, style and support. Each collection has been ergonomically engineered to ensure optimized positioning for lumbar, head/neck and legs over the course of a long feature film. At Salamander, all entertainment seating models are constructed to deliver lasting comfort and elegance.

Luca Theater Seating

The Luca seating features a stylish diamond double-needle stitching on the seat and back inserts with single-needle top stitch on the arms, the seat and back frames. Consumers can select stitching that matches or contrasts with the upholstery for a stunning look. Luca recliners are offered with manual or power recline mechanisms and with or without cup holders.

Lilliana Theater Seating

The Lilliana seating is a similar overall form factor to the Luca models, but is adorned with handsome horizontal channel stitching on the seat and back inserts and matching or contrasting welt around the perimeter. Like the Luca chairs, Lilliana models are offered with manual or power recline mechanisms and with or without cup holders.
